Instagram Data Deletion

Vera by magicpin helps merchants manage their Instagram Business presence. When a merchant connects their Instagram account to Vera, we access and store the following data to provide our services:

Instagram account profile (username, account type, profile picture, follower and media counts)
An access token (stored encrypted) used to act on the merchant’s behalf
Content we publish for the merchant (posts, captions, media IDs, permalinks)
Post insights and analytics (reach, likes, comments, saves)
Comments on the merchant’s posts, for moderation and replies

How to delete your Instagram data

Option 1 — Disconnect from your dashboard (instant)

Open the Vera section of the magicpin partner dashboard, go to connected channels, and click Disconnect next to Instagram. This immediately revokes Vera’s access and deletes your stored Instagram connection and tokens.

Option 2 — Email request

Email care@magicpin.in with the subject “Instagram Data Deletion” and your registered business name or merchant ID. We will delete all stored Instagram data associated with your account within 30 days and confirm by email.

What happens when you delete

Your Instagram access token and connection record are permanently removed from our systems.
Vera stops accessing your Instagram account immediately.
Previously published posts remain on your Instagram account (you control those directly via Instagram); we only remove the data stored on our side.
